What size mat-board should I choose?

If you're purchasing a mat-board for your print, it's best to choose an opening size that is .50" smaller than the listed print size, which gives you a small 0.25" overlap on each side for mounting (e.g. for a 24"x36" print, you should choose an opening size of 23.5"x35.5").

​In terms of the mat width - the size you should choose depends on your frame size and the look you want to achieve. If you have already purchased a frame, you should choose a mat size that matches the frame size.
